Company is latest acquisition by Boston software developer

Austin, Texas – May 23, 2005 — Rocket Software (www.rocketsoftware.com), a Boston-based developer of Enterprise Infrastructure products, today announced that it has acquired Servergraph, Inc., a Texas company that develops reporting and analysis software for data backup. The firm will continue to function as a business unit within Rocket headed by Servergraph CEO Mark Roberts, and plans to expand its employee base in Austin as a result of the acquisition. Servergraph has doubled its revenues every year since its founding in 1999, and the company's storage management applications are currently used by nearly 200 Global 2000 companies. The total value of the deal is expected to be $10 million.

Servergraph develops powerful, flexible, and highly scalable Web-based storage management applications. The Servergraph Product Suite provides proactive management and automation for backup and recovery – graphing and powerful drill-down tools for quick problem isolation, performance tuning, and billing by application or cost center – all from a single Web-based console.
